Research interest:

To study the gravity field of the earth and other planets to determine their shape, size and dynamicity. These include:

  1. integration of terrestrial, airborne and satellite-based global gravity datasets to compute geopotential number/geoid height and the theory of height systems, and astro-geodesy with application to civil engineering and mapping;
  2. modeling short wavelengths contribution to the earth’s gravity field from very high resolution digital topographic models with application to physical geodesy;
  3. analysis of remotely-sensed time-varying gravity field from Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite mission to quantify the hydrological mass distribution and transport and melting of ice sheet within the earth system at regional and global scale,
  4. compilation of satellite gravity data from Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explore (GOCE), GRACE and Global Gravity Model for global geodynamics and oceanographic study.
